I have a lot of naturally curly hair. In the humid summer months, it can get a slightly unruly. So, I decided to design an open-grid type headband. It still allows my head to breath while providing some much needed direction for my curls. I have written the pattern with the use of an elastic hair tie to allow for better stretch. However, you could easily turn this into a sewn closed, tie closed, twisted or other modified designs. I am just giving you the basics with this pattern. Feel free to experiment until you are happy with your creation! Happy Crocheting!
